runner is a Vancouver-based band fronted by singer-songwriter Kira Cuthbertson. Individually, each band member has their own distinct style but together they walk the line between indie and folk, flirting with alternative and country and offering a blend of heartfelt lyricism and simple yet poignant production. Since their debut show in 2023 they’ve headlined local shows in Vancouver at Lana Lou’s and the Painted Ship, and opened for Riun Garner at the Fox Cabaret. They have released two singles paving the way for their upcoming EP, arriving this summer.
